Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the overall planning, scheduling, and campus environment improvement of all exhibition work for the University Arts Centre.
  2. Manage the exhibition team, supervise staff, coordinate team collaboration and task allocation, and conduct preliminary research on exhibition themes, artists, and project backgrounds.
  3. Handle external communication and liaison, invite outstanding artists and curators, and coordinate overall exhibition publicity and operations.
  4. Work with relevant internal departments and external partners to ensure regular maintenance and proper functioning of artworks and equipment for exhibitions both on and off campus.
  5. Plan exhibition?period activities (such as workshops and guided tours) to enhance the campus art atmosphere and public engagement.
  6. Supervise the daily operation and management of exhibition venues, including safety during installation and deinstallation, gallery environmental conditions during exhibitions (temperature, humidity, lighting, and sustainable energy?efficient management), scheduling of duty staff, cleaning, equipment inspection, facility repair, and maintenance of surrounding landscape areas.
  7. Manage exhibition equipment, assets, collections, and related financial and asset matters, ensuring safety, standardization, and compliance.
  8. Participate in exhibition budget planning, monitor project progress, and coordinate with lenders, contractors, service providers, and other relevant partners.
  9. Collect and analyze annual exhibition visitor data, and provide data support for exhibition planning and communication strategies.
  10. Comply with the overall arrangements of the University Arts Centre, actively participate in and coordinate various tasks and cross?departmental project support and collaboration.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the University.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. A full?time bachelor’s degree or above, with strong interest in contemporary art in China and abroad; art?related majors and at least 10 years of exhibition project experience are preferred.
  2. Experience in galleries, or art institutions is preferred; strong data analysis and statistical capabilities.
  3. Fair, upright, diligent, and honest; strong sense of professionalism, responsibility, dedication, team spirit, and service orientation.
  4. Dedicated and responsible, enthusiastic and patient; willing to participate in student activities and committed to long?term work in a university environment.
  5. Strong organizational and coordination skills, good team collaboration, ability to work overtime, strong stress tolerance, and the ability to respond calmly and handle emergencies.
  6. Good aesthetic and quality control abilities; solid understanding of materials, craftsmanship, color, lighting, and equipment, with the ability to actively learn relevant professional knowledge.
  7. Strong communication and coordination skills, innovative mindset, clear work logic, attention to detail, and the ability to complete work to a high standard.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.

  4. 与相关部门和外部合作方配合，确保包含校内外展览作品、设备的定期维护与正常运行；

  6. 负责展馆日常运营与管理工作，包括布撤展施工安全、展期展厅环境（温湿度、光照可持续节能环保管理）、值班人员调度、清洁、设备检修、房屋检修及周边场地景观维护等；
  7. 负责展览设备资产及藏品等财务及资产管理工作，确保安全、规范、合规；
  8. 参与展览项目预算规划，监督项目执行进度，并协调出借方、承建商和服务供应商等相关合作方；
  9. 负责每年度展览参观数据的收集与统计分析，为展览策划与宣传策略提供数据支持；
  10. 服从大学艺术中心整体活动安排，积极参与并协调各项任务及跨部门项目支持与协作；
  11. 大学交办的其他相关工作。

岗位要求：

  1. 本科及以上学历，对国内外当代艺术有浓厚兴趣；艺术相关专业，具有 10 年以上展览项目经验者优先；
  2. 有美术馆或艺术机构相关工作经验者优先；具备良好的数据分析与统计能力；
  3. 公道正派，勤政廉洁，有事业心和责任感，具备奉献精神、团队精神和服务意识；
  4. 敬业、责任心强，乐于参加学生活动，有志于在高校长期工作，有热情、有耐心；
