《蛙声》

小山上的齐贤楼二零八

是我们今晚过夜的地方。

她说我们还没有这样在外面留宿,

感觉就像度假。二楼落地窗对着小马路

和夜里路边杂草丛中的蛙声。

我一生中第一次听出,她也同意,

那不是一般的蛙叫,

而是它们在演奏音乐:最初,

是一支短曲,我没听出来,

然后我听出第二支,稍长,

主要是那领头的蛙声,先是

从一侧冒出来,缓慢而洪亮,

接着加快,越来越快,汇合整片蛙声,

然后整片蛙声沉寂,剩下它

收尾定音。隔一会儿

第三支升起,是长曲,

很长,总是在我预期要停的时候

继续、继续、继续,直到我

再也听不出它的整体结构

并昏昏入睡。
