Longgang District Key Laboratory Project 2020 has initiated.  Details of application requirements are as follows:

1. Key Areas and Funding Amount

The project is funded at 50% of the initial investment of the laboratory, and the maximum funding is 3 million Yuan. 

2. Key Areas

New-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, green and low-carbon, biomedicine, digital economy, new materials, new energy, marine economy.

3. Application Requirements

3.1 Laboratory members.

1 or 2 academic leader; 1 laboratory director; 2 or more key researchers with a master's degree or above, and more than 5 researchers with a bachelor's degree or above, with sufficient technical and service personnel. The laboratory director shall not concurrently serve as the director or deputy director in other Longgang District key laboratories.

3.2 Scientific research level of the laboratory

i. In the past 2 years (January 1, 2018-December 31, 2019, the same below), laboratory members have undertaken no less than 2 municipal and higher-level scientific research projects with a total amount of over 1 million Yuan.

ii. In the past 2 years, laboratory members have no less than 10 scientific research achievements, such as journal articles included in SCI, EI, ISTP, ISR, etc. and authorized intellectual property rights (including inventions, utility models, designs, etc.). The total number of journal articles included in SCI, EI, authorized invention patents, software copyrights, integrated circuit layout design exclusive rights and new plant varieties shall no less than 5.

3.3 Area and equipment.

The minium research area is 200m², and the original value of equipment shall more than 5 million Yuan (for software field, the original value shall more than 3 million Yuan).

4. Application Procedure

Submit online. Log in the application system( http://cyfw.lg.gov.cn) to fill in the project application form online, and uploads the electronic version of other application materials in the system .

5. Deadline

Applicants shall submit application forms online by August 25, 2020.

Applicants must submit a paper application form before August 27, 2020
