The Shenzhen science and technology innovation commission has initiated topics collection for sustainable development science and technology fund 2021, the requirements are described as follows:

1. Collection method

Applicants shall fill out application forms online via the application system (website: http://stic.sz.gov.cn/) and click on the “项目征集” column to fill in the form online (Select “创新创业专项” for the plan category in the collection form, and select“可持续发展科技专项” for the project category).

2. Collection area

(1) The field of efficient utilization of resources: the key fields include engineering residue, comprehensive utilization technology of demolition waste, efficient treatment and resource utilization of domestic garbage and kitchen waste, disposal technology of medical waste and epidemic-related solid waste, clean production, and new energy and high-efficiency energy-saving technology, land and space intensive and economical utilization technology etc.

(2) Eco-environmental control fields: the key fields include water, air and soil pollution prevention and control technologies, natural ecology, biodiversity protection and sponge city construction technologies, Shenzhen Bay ecological environment restoration, near-shore water ecological environment risk warning technology, and water source protection and drinking water quality safety assurance technology, garbage leakage filtrate treatment technology etc.

(3) Life and health field: the key fields include major new emerging infectious diseases, AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other clinical medical research fields, major chronic disease prevention and control, occupational disease prevention, health care and other public health fields, China traditional medical modernization and other fields.

(4) Social governance fields: The key fields include natural disaster prevention and control, risk monitoring, early warning and assessment, safety prevention and control of hazardous chemicals, disaster prevention and mitigation and emergency rescue technology, occupational hazard protection technology etc.

(5) Poverty alleviation and development fields: the key fields include rural drinking water safety, rural sewage treatment technology, efficient water-saving agriculture, farmland pollution treatment and improvement technology, featured animal and plant breeding and breeding technology, ecological pest control technology, agricultural products, deep processing technology of characteristics product etc.

3. Deadline

Applicants submit the collection form online before June 25, 2020, without printing paper materials.

4.Notes

The special sustainable development science and technology project has quantifiable economic index requirements within the execution period. At the project declaration stage, it shall be jointly declared with the enterprise, focusing on the combination of production, education and research.
