On April 10, CUHK-Shenzhen hosted the 2026 International Day, drawing over 2,000 faculty and students to an international celebration. As Shenzhen steps into the spotlight as the host city for APEC 2026, this year's event, themed "Welcome to Wonderland," brought multi-cultural vibrancy and global warmth to our campus.

The opening performance brought the event to life. Over 50 international students performed a high-energy dance. With lively music, the audience was drawn into a magical "Wonderland," marking the beginning of a cross-cultural journey.

Featuring flavours from over 40 countries and regions, the event took participants on a "world tour” of international cuisines. Several activity areas offered interactive games, cultural exchange, and hands-on crafts. Students and faculty enjoyed different cultures in a lively and relaxed atmosphere. As night fell, a series of dynamic performances showcased diverse traditions and brought the event to a climax.

The 2026 CUHKSZ International Day fostered meaningful cultural exchange and mutual understanding. It brought the idea of "harmony in diversity" to life and left participants with lasting memories of a global campus experience.
